About TITAN Lithium
A battery specialist since 1948.
Family-run, Cheltenham-based, and one of the few genuine UK battery specialists left. We've spent three generations doing batteries properly - and the last few of them building lithium that actually deserves the price tag.
Our background
Three generations in batteries.
Our parent business, Groves Batteries Ltd, was established in 1948 and has been led by the Groves family ever since. TITAN Lithium is run by the same family. Automotive batteries paid the rent for decades - mobility scooters, government building backups, the lot.
We've seen huge change in our market and have been part of that change. The last few years have been some of the most turbulent and exciting, with the lithium sector advancing faster than anyone predicted.
Our staff are hands-on with batteries and serving customers daily. Recommendations come from real-world experience, not a reseller's brochure. Every product we sell is tested by us before it goes on the shelf.
How TITAN came to be
Distributing wasn't enough.
We've been distributing other lithium battery brands since 2010. After ten years of seeing what was good and what wasn't, we spotted the gap - the next tier of lithium battery wasn't being built for the leisure and marine market the way it should be. We wanted more control, our customers wanted better pricing and choice.
Customers were also looking for knowledge and reassurance to invest in this new technology. That's something we'd been providing for 75 years.
So we teamed up with our manufacturing partners and developed the TITAN range to a TITAN spec sheet. The name was the easy bit - our batteries tower above all others.
What does Δ in our logo mean? Delta - the fourth letter in the Greek alphabet. Four for the number of phosphate atoms in LiFePO4.

Designed in the UK, built to a TITAN spec sheet at our partner factory, end-pack QC in Cheltenham before it ships.
Tested in extremes
Heavy-duty environments where lead-acid lasted a year or two. Our batteries are still going. Every cell undergoes formal safety and transport testing.
