Off-grid systems live and die by the relationship between three numbers: how much energy your panels harvest in a day, how much your loads pull, and how much storage you have to bridge the cloudy weeks. Most lithium batteries leave the maths to you. TITAN does it for you.
The TITAN App V2 watches your inverter's draw pattern and learns the typical daily load profile of your cabin, your home or your site. It uses that, plus your panel rating and location, to forecast your solar yield in Ah for the next 24 hours. It flags when your forecast falls below your typical load - so you know when to throttle back, when to run the generator, when to switch to grid.
The custom BMS handles the gnarly bits. Active balancing keeps cell drift below 5mV in storage. The heater pad means you can charge from solar through a UK winter. The comms package talks Victron VE.Can, NMEA 2000 and Bluetooth - so the data lives wherever you want it.

How much storage do you need?
The off-grid sizing rule of thumb: size your bank to 2-3 days of typical daily Ah draw. That gives you enough buffer to ride through one cloudy day without dropping below 20% SOC, with a day's solar to recover. For sites with longer cloudy spells (the West Country, January, north-facing roofs) push to 3-4 days.
- Garden office or small cabin, lights + laptop + small fridge: 105-150Ah at 12V
- Holiday cabin, weekend use, fridge + freezer + lights: 180-260Ah at 12V
- Off-grid home (residential), inverter-fed AC loads: 460Ah at 12V, or a 24V 230Ah bank
- Agricultural shed / pump / monitoring: 80-180Ah at 12V, often paired with a small solar array
- Remote sensor / telemetry / camera: 80-105Ah at 12V with a single panel

- MPPT solar controllers: Victron SmartSolar, Renogy Rover, EPEver Tracer - all work fine. Use the lithium / LFP profile, set absorption to 14.4V and float to 13.6V for the TITAN curve.

- System monitors: Victron Cerbo + GX-Touch displays show TITAN data natively over the TITAN to Victron VE.Can cable. Full DVCC control - the BMS drives charging decisions, not the inverter.
- Generators: any inverter generator with a quality charger (Honda EU, Yamaha EF) works. Don't connect direct from a cheap generator AC output to the battery - go through a proper lithium-aware charger.
- App: the TITAN App V2 ties it all together - live SOC, solar yield forecast, daily Ah harvest history, appliance recognition for the loads you've configured.
