Free UK next-day. DDP across Europe.
Mainland UK orders ship free on DPD's pre-12pm next-day service - most arrive before midday. Orders to our 27 European destinations go DDP via DPD - VAT and any duties included in your order total, nothing extra to pay at the door. Larger orders use UPS, and for everywhere else we've shipped TITAN packs as far as Antarctica via specialist DG freight.
Costs, times and the small print.
We keep this simple. Free to mainland UK. £20-25 to anywhere in the EU. Everywhere else, we'll quote. Lithium batteries are UN3480 dangerous goods, so we use carriers with the right approvals - DPD for most consignments, UPS for the larger ones, and our own DG-freight relationships for anything exotic.

How DDP works, and why we use it.
DDP stands for Delivered Duty Paid. It means the price you see at checkout is the final price - your local VAT, any duties owed and the shipping fee are all baked in. No customs paperwork to handle, no second invoice from the courier, no surprises at the door.
The alternative, which most UK-to-Europe lithium battery sellers still use, is DAP (Delivered at Place). DAP looks cheaper on the product page but the courier collects VAT and a £15-30 clearance fee from you before they hand the parcel over. We've never liked that surprise, so we don't do it.
If you're a VAT-registered business buyer and you'd rather recover the VAT through your own books, ask us about EXW (Ex Works) terms. We'll release the goods from Cheltenham VAT-free, you arrange your own collection or use one of our preferred carriers, and you claim the VAT back through your local return. We've set this up plenty of times for marine yards, motorhome converters and OEMs across Europe - it's straightforward, just drop us a line before you order.
Shipped with the right paperwork, every time.
Every TITAN battery ships under UN3480 PI 965 II (or PI 967 packed-with-equipment for some integration orders). We hold UN38.3 test summaries and a full MSDS for every product - both are available on the Safety & Compliance page or by email on request.
For consignments destined outside Europe we coordinate the shipper's declaration, the Class 9 labelling and the IATA / IMDG documentation directly with the freight forwarder. We've shipped TITAN packs to Australia, New Zealand, the US, Spitsbergen and Antarctica. If your destination needs special handling, talk to us first and we'll quote the carrier and the timeline.

Damage, refusals and returns.
Lithium packs are heavy. We pack them well - foam-walled DG boxes, edge-protectors and tamper-evident seals - but freight is freight. If your battery arrives with visible damage, photograph the outer box before you sign for it and email us straight away at info@titanlithium.co.uk. We'll arrange a free replacement from stock and recover from the courier our end.
For consumer returns - 14 days under UK and EU distance-selling rules, longer for TITAN Labs prototype products which carry a 60-day fit-check return window. The full policy lives on our Refund Policy page.
