PROJECT REPORT CS-04 / EXPORT
Exporting 40 lithium batteries to Barbados

Brief
A customer in Barbados needed forty 12.8V 120Ah lithium batteries on a fixed deadline. Lithium batteries ship as dangerous goods, and one wrong label leaves the pallet waiting in customs.
Requirements
- 40 batteries in one consignment.
- Dangerous-goods packing and labelling.
- Paperwork to the freight forwarder's own requirements.
- Delivery on a fixed date.
Engineering response
We handled the battery side end to end: the packing configuration, the dangerous-goods labelling and the forwarder's specific paperwork.
With one supplier responsible for both the product and the documentation, there was no gap between battery vendor and shipping company for a problem to fall into.
Result
The shipment cleared and landed on time, with no damage and no paperwork queries, within 2 months of order.
